1/10/12: had an extremely relaxing evening of someone else cooking for me, a manicure & lots of episodes of intervention.

1/11/12: tyler & leah took me out to dinner! i have nice friends.

1/12/12: grant & i had a really good talk about post-apocalyptic scenarios. also, had a good ballet class.

1/13/12: the first work happy hour of the year was today, everyone got extremely drunk & shared many laughs.

1/14/12: first haircut in several months by a new hair person (who i happen to have known for 14 years!) & i look so good! bangs! yay!

1/15/12: i took buster to the dog beach with a lady friend & her dog, so many cute dogs all over! also noah told me he would like to get a mouse & a mouse cage & name the mouse “poops.” what a precious.

1/16/12: my friend ivy’s band played a show in san diego just for me! it was pretty amazing & i got to see lots of buddies. i also wore some peacock feather eyelashes, they were a pretty big hit.

1/17/12: i had a kind of dumb day but i did catch up with a certain ex-bf who lives on a boat & i remembered how they’re not all bad & sometimes things happen for a really important reason.
