1/18/12: beautiful friends night with coworkers, then grant, then l & m. ate so much sushi & had so many drinks & laughed until four in the morning. kind of inappropriate for a wednesday night but whatever.

1/19/12: took the day off from work & slept & read & snuggled buster. also, took a walk up mt. helix for some beautiful views.

1/20/12: steffie and i had our first date night of the year at cowboy star. we stuffed our faces with so many delicious meats & desserts & cocktails. i love my lady friends.

1/21/12: i met a dog who had been in a car accident as a puppy, but had been found and money raised to reconstruct pretty much whole left half. he had a wonky face & was pretty much the best dog ever.

1/22/12: i found some excellent stuff at the thrift today. vintage magic!

1/23/12: i had a really good pilates class, was almost immediately sore. i think it’s helping my back though.

1/24/12: i gave myself a really good manicure. black with rhinestones & glitter, super magical & spacey.

1/25/12: today is noah’s birthday! he is three years old and still the best thing ever.

1/26/12: my friend sarah works for a special nonprofit & they hosted a lovely fundraiser. i got to eat tacos & drink beer & take a walk on the beach & feel good about myself.
